In accordance to this years theme ' 100 Years of Indian Cinema ', Media Manthan '13 shall feature events related to this very theme. The two day national level media fiesta shall be a witness to many events revolving around cinema, which shall include
Media Workshops, Panel Discussions, Expert Talks, Celebrity Interactions, Film Screenings and Media Competitions.

Media Workshops
The main aim of a Media Workshop is to arm the youth with skills in media. We at Media Manthan 13, realizing this, have included several workshops as a part of this years media fiesta. These workshops are open not only to the participating college students, but the general public as well. The details are as follows:

Panel Discussions
The dictionary defines Panel Discussion as 'A discussion of a subject of public interest by a group of persons forming a panel, often before an audience'. We at Media Manthan '13 beg to differ. We'd say a Panel Discussion is a knowledge disseminating discussion by a distinguished panel of Media Professionals, in front of an equally awesome audience!

Expert Talks
Experts have a prolonged or intense experience through practice and education in a particular field. In our case, Media Manthan '13 features talks by some of the renowned experts in the field of Media. These talks are open to the general public as well.

- 'Commerce of the Scientific Art' - A talk on the challenges faced by smaller cinema industries in India by Vinayak Pujar
Celebrity Interactions
Every person would love to meet his/her favourite celebrity some time or the other. Since the theme of this year's Media Manthan is '100 Years of Indian Cinema', we have decided to invite a few film celebrities to come and share their experience with the audience. Who are the visiting celebrities you ask? Well, that's a surprise for you. Come over to witness Media Manthan '13 and be amazed :)

Film Screenings
Media Manthan '13 with its theme of '100 Years of Indian Cinema' would be incomplete if there are no film screenings. Thus, we would like to present to you some of the finest films that India has produced over the last 100 years.
We expect to have 6 film screenings on the two days of the fest, as well as a few more screenings in the weeks preceding the fest. Further details and schedule shall be updated shortly.

Intercollegiate Competitions
Media Manthan '13 will feature a number of competitions open to all participating teams. Each college can send ONE team comprising of 15 Bonafide Students from any discipline from either UG/PG. (Including Engineering, Medical, Diploma students). More details are available on the Competitions Page.
